02034249383 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 02034249383 👆 is reported as a persistent scam call often using the name "Jo" and posing as a government or energy advisor offering fraudulent home insulation grants or surveys. Callers do not leave messages and frequently disconnect when questioned, indicating no genuine intent. Victims risk substantial financial loss through bogus repair fees or personal data theft. These calls are linked to AI-driven robocalls and are part of a broader energy-related scam. Recipients are urged not to engage, never confirm personal details, and to report the number and associated interactions to official UK authorities, including Ofcom and police systems, via the number 7726 or designated email channels. Blocking alone is ineffective as scammers continually call from different numbers. Vigilance and reporting help protect vulnerable individuals and combat this widespread issue.

I never pick up calls from numbers I don’t know, and with this one, as soon as it went to voicemail, it just hung up straightaway.

Sounds like one of those automated calls. I kept trying to talk but they just kept going on and on about loft insulation stuff. No idea what their goal was, but whenever I tried answering, they just carried on like they didn't hear me. After a while, I gave up, ended the call, and blocked this so-called "energy advisor" number again.

My phone showed that the caller was marked as a "nuisance" by EE. I didn’t answer and there was no voicemail left either.

Had this number calling loads of time, the recorded voice just keeps going without listening to anything you say. Started feeling like they were harassing me. Something about loft insulation was the topic.

On Monday 6th April 2026, I got a call from a bloke with a British accent who said he was James, my energy advisor around here. He began asking me a bunch of questions, which felt a bit familiar, as if I’d had a similar call before. Turns out, it was one of those automated voice systems. I decided to mess about, giving silly answers, and after a brief pause, the “James” just moved on to the next question. I even straight up asked if he was a robot, but he kept sticking to the script. After a bit, I just hung up. Definitely a scam, so watch out! Don’t get caught out by these tricks.

Got a voicemail about loft insulation, sounded like a total scam to me.

They asked if I was there but then just went quiet, so I stayed silent too just to be safe from any voice scam. Ended up hanging up and blocking the caller.

These scammers just keep spouting the same rubbish over and over again.

When BT shows it as unknown, I just let it go to voicemail. If it was something important, they’d leave a message, right? No message means it’s probably just spam in my book!

Looks like this number, or similar ones, are being used by some real dodgy characters. Stay away from them!

I couldn't get to the phone quick enough.

There was no voicemail left when they rang, but after seeing what others have said, I reckon this is just some scam. Loads of different numbers have been used, but it's always the same ‘Jo’ calling. Seems my number’s stuck in their fake call list or something.

Lazy people who cant be bothered to get a proper job so they just call up and scam folks out of their cash. Its a proper shame, they're just messing up the whole UK's economy and making everything worse for everyone else.

I keep getting calls about checking my energy efficiency, but the wording is always exactly the same, even though the phone number changes each time.

Got a call but they didn't say anything. Probably just a scam.

This scam is really bad news. People falling for this dodgy trader end up with repair bills that are through the roof. Check out the two comments a few posts above mine for more info. And seriously, make sure you report every call you get! It’s so crucial.

Never gets around to leaving a voicemail.

I usually just let calls from numbers I don’t recognise go straight to voicemail, and true to form, this time the caller just dropped the call. If they were legit, I’m sure they’d have left a message. Seeing what others say about this number, it’s a relief I didn’t answer.

Someone calling themselves 'Jo' said they were from the Government’s Home Energy Department. The voice sounded familiar, like I’d heard it before on other calls but from other numbers. They promised a nice Government grant for insulating my home, but only if I agreed to a survey first. Of course, the next step was them asking for all my personal and bank info. Felt a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call from some dodgy energy supplier, pretty sure it was a scam. It was one of those robotic voice things. Best just to ignore these calls, they're a load of rubbish.

Got a call from someone who said they're "Jo," an energy advisor, but this time the number showed as London. Strange since I'm in Greater Manchester. Seems like the same person ringing me over and over!

Wish these were real digits so I could spend hours messing with those scam folks, especially the cheeky ones from India. They’re the funniest to chat up and then just leave hanging like rubbish on the street. It’s hilarious when they call with no caller ID, keeps the game going 😂😂🙏

Picked up the phone and this person asked if I was the homeowner and said their name was Jo. I told them no, then it went quiet on their end so I just ended the call. Seems like it was one of those scam calls.
