4 monthsThis number keeps ringing me but I always ignore it, don’t want to pick up at all.4 monthsShe said her name was Jo. I told her to stop ringing me, but she still calls often. Normally I just tell them not to call and hang up, but this time I paused to see if it was an actual person. She straight up said she’d keep phoning me. I asked again for her not to call, and she repeated she’d keep ringing. She sounded like an older woman, which was a bit strange. I’m not sure how to block a landline number though, so not sure what to do next.Jo5 monthsGot a ring from a lady with an English accent, she kicked off asking about what I’ve got stored in my loft. I have to admit, I do like to give them a bit of a runaround, so I pretended to be a bit of a confused old lady. Then she switched gears, started quizzing about new windows and doors - well, of course I’ve got those! Then she went on about solar panels - no clue what those are, apparently. After a bit, she just gave up and ended the call without even a “thanks for your time.” Bit rude, if you ask me!5 monthsSaw a missed call from a London number but figured it was just some sort of spam.London5 monthsSomebody rang me saying they were the energy advisor from around here and asked if I owned the house. I told them I didn't, and then it went dead silent. I hung around on the line for a bit, but eventually they just ended the call. Felt dodgy to me, probably a scam.5 monthsI phoned but no one picked up and I didn't bother leaving a voicemail, probably one of those dodgy calls. I've blocked the number now.5 monthsThe call ended before I even managed to pick up or let the phone start ringing properly.5 monthsGot a call that was completely silent, no one said a word so I hung on for about 20 seconds then gave up. These days, nearly every ring on the landline turns out to be some kind of scam or phishing attempt, so I didn’t waste time and just blocked that number straight away. Would rather be cautious than risk anything dodgy.5 monthsThey asked if I owned the house, but I just ended the call straight away because these types of calls always seem like scams to me.5 monthsGot a call from someone pretending to be doing home surveys or something, but it smelled like a total scam trying to get me to say I own my place. Classic telemarketer trick, just watch out!5 monthsI answered the call after it rang a couple of times and said hello, but there was no reply from the other end...5 monthsGot a call at 2:43pm on a Wednesday from a number I didn’t recognise, so I just ignored it. They didn’t leave any voicemail, which is pretty typical for dodgy scam calls from landlines. Decided to block the number straight away.2 yearsGot a call I didn’t pick up.Submit Your Own Report (020 3424 9297)
