Got a call from someone claiming they worked for a firm linked to Aviva, asking me to check my life insurance policy for free. When I asked a few questions, they got quite snappy and pushy. The caller sounded South African, and I reckon either they hire lots of blokes from there or it's the same guy ringing me over and over. Feels dodgy to me, probably a scam.

Got a call claiming it was about my AXA Insurance. They even mentioned my exact postcode, which was a bit weird. Thing is, I don't have an AXA policy at all. I do work for AXA, though, and I know for sure we aren’t doing any staff surveys right now. Told them I wanted to exercise my GDPR right to be forgotten and the line just went dead on me.
