However, the call ended abruptly with no further sounds, and I hadn't even picked up. It's quite possible this is linked to a £3 text donation I sent to Unicef following their latest appeal on telly.

This morning, I received a rather suspicious call from a woman who was trying to persuade me to take part in a competition with a tempting prize of £200. It raised a few red flags for me, so I politely declined her offer.
