They’re not trying to scam you, if you’re gettin calls from there it means you have a credit card with Vanquis and probably gone over your limit or missed a payment. Best not to ignore them, avoiding it will just cause more trouble down the track.

I can't believe the nerve of these individuals! They totally cut off our phone without any warning, and we were absolutely furious! How on earth is that even possible? I decided to investigate these folks to find out if they were pestering others as much as they have been bothering me, and lo and behold, it appears they are! I had one 'guaranteed transaction' that nudged me just past my rather paltry credit threshold. The following morning, I was bombarded with relentless calls. I informed them that I would sort out the over-limit payment as soon as my wages came through. They acknowledged my situation, but did it make a jot of difference? Absolutely not! The calls just kept coming, often four, five, or even six times daily! Surely a legitimate financial establishment operating in the UK in this day and age can’t conduct themselves in such a shabby manner?

This company is clearly operating beyond the bounds of the law. It’s apparent that they resort to harassment tactics to extort money from individuals who supposedly owe them. According to the Administration of Justice Act 1970, such behaviour is expressly prohibited. They’re not allowed to utilise 'IMPACT' or any similar methods for debt collection. The Act itself highlights that it's a criminal offence to pursue a civil debt in a manner that causes distress and public humiliation. It’s crucial to report this to the authorities immediately!

I’ve been inundated with calls from these folks using various numbers, despite them being well aware that I'm in an Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA). We've stopped responding to them entirely. The advisor we encountered when we initially reached out to discuss the IVA was shockingly unpleasant. I tried to handle the situation politely, but eventually, I had to let her know precisely where she could direct her incessant questioning. Since then, I've avoided answering any of their calls.
