Got a call from an Indian bloke, pretty sure he was calling from India, using a dodgy number 02034162704. He was trying some scam about an accident, saying he was from the "road traffic accident department". Was busy so just gave short answers and hung up. If I’d had more time, I’d have messed about and wasted their time instead. Would be great if IP traffic was easier to track and there was a proper joint effort to shut these scams down and expose the people behind them.

Yesterday, I received a rather peculiar call on my home phone from a woman sporting a rather thick foreign accent. She inquired if I needed assistance regarding an accident injury claim - a matter I was completely baffled by. When I mentioned I had no clue what she was on about, she shockingly pivoted to suggesting ways to defraud my insurance company! I was absolutely taken aback! This number reeks of danger and is undoubtedly a scam that you’d be wise to avoid, lest you find yourself in a world of trouble!

Received a call on my work line from someone quite belligerent, insisting I share my personal information. They claimed I was entitled to a hefty six thousand pounds as part of an insurance scam. Quite the cheeky con, if you ask me!

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent claiming I’d been in a small car crash, which wasn’t true at all. Told him to leave me alone and not to phone again. Despite that, he kept ringing back a few times. Eventually, I just stopped picking up and he gave up. Complete nonsense and just felt like harassment.

I just got a call from this number but missed it before I could pick up. As usual with any random number, I looked it up here. No way I’m calling back after a missed call from them, I’ll just block it straight away. The reviews here (and trust me, I check them a lot) do seem legit for the most part. It’s better to be cautious than risk getting scammed - never trust cold calls, just hang up and block.

Hard to make out what they were saying, sounded like a foreign accent (not sure exactly where from). Usual stuff about a claim for an accident worth 12,000 quid.
