So this guy called Paulo Garcia rings me up claiming he's a modelling agent. He asked for a £50 deposit, said it's just to hold your photoshoot slot and that you’d get it back. But once the photoshoot was done, I found out I had to shell out about £1,000. Bit of a nasty surprise!

Got a call from a number I didn’t know, no message left in my voicemail either. Felt like just someone messing about, so I decided to block it and remove the number straight away.

While I was driving, I got a call from someone saying they could offer better prices on my phone and O2 business tariffs. I do use my personal mobile for my small business, but I don’t handle contracts or anything like that over the phone, so I wasn’t interested. I just told them I’m fine with what I’ve got and asked them to stop ringing me.

I received a rather curious phone call claiming to be from EE regarding a business matter. The chap on the line wanted to know how many numbers I have on my contract, which I found rather odd-surely they ought to have that information on hand? When I asked if he could send me a text to confirm his affiliation with EE, he seemed quite taken aback and promptly ended the call. Quite suspect, if you ask me!

I received a call regarding an EE Business matter, supposedly from EE itself. They inquired about the number of lines on my contract, which struck me as odd since you'd think they'd have that information readily available. When I requested they send me a text for verification, they appeared quite flustered and abruptly ended the call. Quite peculiar, don't you think?

So this bloke said he was from O2, but turns out he was just working for some third party trying to hawk business phone deals. He kept promising free calls to landlines and mobiles in Europe but wouldn’t provide any terms and conditions. I didn’t bother with it and honestly, you probs shouldn’t either.

Got a call from someone claiming to be O2 saying I should upgrade my phone contract since I’m apparently paying too much. The weird thing is, the person never said who they were and couldn’t even tell me what deal I’ve got right now. Seemed fishy to me.
