He was a young guy, maybe early twenties, sounded like he was trying way too hard, stuttering like he was nervous or reading off a script in a dodgy call centre. I told him I don't deal with cold calls and just ended the call. After that, I've had three more calls from numbers pretty much the same, all flagged on here as dodgy. Definitely a scam, just ignore and always be cautious!2 yearsGot a call around 11:27 on Saturday 6 July 2024. When I picked up, all I could hear was silence, but then a lady claimed she was from some utility firm conducting a survey. Just as quick as that, the call cut off. Seems fishy to me since no one has this number except me - it’s just a backup phone I use for MP3s in emergencies. How on earth did they even find it?
