Today, at around 16:31, I got a call on my mobile from this number. A man spoke with a strong Indian/Pakistani tone and asked for Mrs .................., but he got my name wrong. His accent and the way he talked made me think it was some kind of scam, so I just ended the call straight away. I'm pretty sure this isn’t the first time this number has reached out to me. Every time I pick up my Virgin home phone, which was once with BT, there’s nobody on the other end. Feels like someone might be attempting to hack our computers through the internet? I’m not having any of that though, I don’t trust those landline internet boxes, so I don’t use one at all.

I got a call from this number a few days ago, but I couldn't catch the company name, and the bloke on the line was really hard to follow. He kept asking for my fiancé’s ex-wife, and even after I told him I wasn’t her, he was convinced I was. When I said I was at work, he said the call would only take a minute, but he just kept pushing that I was this other person. What really got to me was that he kept repeating her postcode, which I found a bit odd since I’d already told him I wasn’t who he was after. Eventually I got so fed up I just hung up.

For some reason, these callers keep ringing my old address from ages ago, about 25 years back, asking for me but using my maiden name. Got a call the other day, they were asking for my dad. When I said I'd get him and asked who was calling, they just couldn’t understand my English and ended up hanging up on me. If you’re gonna try to sell something, at least have someone who can speak English properly - it’s just so frustrating. Cold calls like this are everywhere now, and half the time they just drop the call. Honestly, it feels like there should be laws against it, but nothing seems to change. This phone number belongs to a call centre that says it's "Simplyoutbound.co.uk" and gives a UK address on their website. But in reality, it's an Indian call centre making unsolicited calls trying to drum up business, acting like UK laws don't apply to them. I've added this number to my call blocker, so I won't be bothered by them again. If only there was a proper regulatory body with the power to deal with these annoying calls once and for all.

Got a call from this number earlier. The bloke wanted to know if he was talking to Mr B... I said no straight away. Then he asked if I was family. I asked who he was, and he said Andrew. When I asked what the call was regarding, he just hung up. Tried ringing back after a few minutes but no luck, no answer at all. If I manage to get hold of them again, I’ll make it crystal clear I don’t want any more calls from them.

I got a call from that number just now. When I finally answered, there was that usual pause you get from call centres. I said "hello", and this woman with an accent asked if she was speaking to me by name. I didn’t have a clue who she was, so I just stayed silent and let her keep rambling on.
