Today I got a call from a lady saying she was with Domestic and General. She started asking about my cover for household appliances, trying to get me to renew some sort of warranty. She said she could sort it all out right then over the phone. I was pretty sure that wasn’t how it worked and it quickly dawned on me that this was a scam.
