Got a call from someone claiming they were from O2 but it was a total scam.

this morning i got a phone call from this number and it was someone pretending to be from o2 trying to scam me. i checked and found this number is actually a residential landline from BT. i reported it to BT and they called the number themselves, confirmed it was a scammer, and said they’ll be cutting it off soon. if u get calls like this claiming to be o2, dont let them into ur account, it’s a scam for sure.

Today I got a call from this number claiming to be O2, offering me a full discount on my line rental. I was pretty sure it was a scam, so I called them out straight away. Definitely not O2!

Someone called me claiming to offer a 30% discount on O2, sounded like a total scam to me.
