Somebody rang me pretending to be from EE, saying they're “your service provider”, but I don’t even have EE as my network! They started asking what phone I use and wanted my personal info. When I declined, they got quite persistent and just brushed off my mention that I’m registered with the mobile preference service and hadn’t asked for this call. They told me they needed my name and address to take me off their list or something, which sounded totally dodgy. Honestly, stay wary of calls like this.
