I got a call from some bloke claiming to be from Capital Ventures, but he was ringing me from a different mobile each time. When I questioned him about using odd numbers instead of a proper company line, he gave me this other number to ring back on, saying that’s how I’d reach him. I’m not about to bother with that. So, I dialled the number that popped up on my phone when he last rang, only to reach a lady who had no clue and was just an innocent bystander. I’d label the number as dodgy, but since I can’t, I’ll just mark it as dangerous instead.

CAUTION - Encountered a pesky caller attempting to push through alterations to my mobile contract. The accent suggested they might be operating from India.
They were incredibly insistent and spoke at a dizzying pace. When I requested them to take it easy, they ignored my plea, insisting that I agree to modify my mobile plan here in Belfast.
