Be careful with this one, it’s a proper dodgy scam. They pretend to ring from 02 and say you can get a 40% discount. Then they ask to send you a one-time code to confirm it, telling you to share it with them. But that code isn’t a discount at all. It’s a password reset code which gives them access to your account, and once they’ve got it, they can buy loads of expensive stuff on your phone bill. Told my mates to watch out for it.

I kept getting calls from a number I didn't recognise so I just let them ring out and didn't pick up.

I just called O2 and they told me for sure that the number 02034104686 isn’t theirs. So the guy who rang me up saying I could get a discount on my O2 bill was obviously trying to pull a fast one.
