Heads up, this is dodgy! I just switched from Lyca to VOXI and got a call from a woman saying she was Vodafone. She asked if I wanted to keep my number or have it blocked. When I said I wanted to keep it, she asked for my email, then sent a Google verification code and wanted me to give it to her. I said no, and then she even asked for my full name. Felt like she was trying to hijack my account. Best thing to do is just hang up straight away!

This number rang me after I tried switching my mobile service from Lyca to Voxi. A lady claiming to be with Vodafone called and asked if I planned to continue using my current number. She also said it might get blocked or something like that. Then she requested my email, sent a 'Google code' there, and said she was setting up an account under my name, asking me to share the code with her. Honestly, these folks are definitely up to no good.
