Got a call off someone called "Simon" saying he was with Carphone Warehouse, but the number popped up as Soho Square General Practice - definitely looked like a spoof. He was trying to give me a discount code for an iPhone or something. As soon as I told him I wasn't interested, he just hung up on me.

Today, Friday 9 July 2021, around 1:21 pm, I got a call from 020-3405-6570. When I picked up and said "Hello," there was complete silence on the other end, and then they just hung up straight away.

Some bloke claimed he was from Carphone Warehouse, but as soon as I mentioned I still used a Nokia 3210, he just started shouting all sorts, telling me to get lost and swearing like mad. Not the friendliest chat I’ve ever had!

Got a call from someone claiming to be with a ‘car phone warehouse firm’ trying to sell me an iPhone. They asked what colour I wanted and then immediately wanted my bank sort code and account details! I told them the name on my card was something rude in Hindi (not sure of the exact spelling) and joked there must be loads of folks with that name in his office, maybe even him. After that, he called me a name and just hung up. Total scam.
