Got a call off someone called "Simon" saying he was with Carphone Warehouse, but the number popped up as Soho Square General Practice - definitely looked like a spoof. He was trying to give me a discount code for an iPhone or something. As soon as I told him I wasn't interested, he just hung up on me.

Today, Friday 9 July 2021, around 1:21 pm, I got a call from 020-3405-6570. When I picked up and said "Hello," there was complete silence on the other end, and then they just hung up straight away.

I received a rather dodgy call from someone claiming to represent 'Car Phone Warehouse’. They were keen to offer me a shiny new iPhone and even asked me what colour I fancied. It didn’t take long before they started probing for my sort code and account details! In the heat of the moment, I cheekily responded with a rather naughty term in Hindi, something along the lines of 'sisterf***er'-not exactly sure how to spell it! I added that he might not be alone in having that name, and he promptly lost his cool and hung up. Quite the laugh really!
