Never share your personal info with these con artists. They seem to ring up totally random numbers, I got a call on a number I only got last week! I usually mess about with them, giving fake details just to keep them hanging. When they realise I’m pulling their leg, they get all annoyed, which is rich coming from them. A guy with an Indian accent said he was calling from Carphone Warehouse. I told him I’m not a customer and that under GDPR he shouldn’t be ringing me without consent. He just kept going on like he didn’t hear me. I warned him I’d report the number to the ICO, and he seemed clueless about the current UK rules on data, so I doubt it was really Carphone Warehouse.
