Got a call earlier claiming to be from Microsoft, saying there was a problem with my computer. Luckily, I’d read up on these types of scams already. I played along, following everything they said except I never actually switched my computer on, which they obviously had no clue about. After about five minutes, I told the bloke straight up I knew it was a con. He didn’t take it well, started swearing and getting rude. It felt pretty satisfying wasting their time like that!

Got a call from a number quite like 020 3972 3704 earlier, so I ignored this one and didn’t pick up. Both numbers are blocked now.

Not sure who it was, but they left a message and actually chatted on my voicemail for a good couple of minutes. Sounded like it might’ve been one of those call centres from India. I’ve blocked the number now anyway.
