I received a call from someone with a rather thick foreign accent, likely Asian, and they were prattling on about my health insurance. It struck me as suspicious, almost like they were trying to fish for personal information and medical records. Just a heads-up to everyone!

Yet another caller with an exotic accent, claiming to be ‘Roger’, has been pestering me about complimentary personal alarm pendants for those aged 50 and above. It’s all a ruse! I've encountered this con previously, where they inevitably attempt to hawk these so-called ‘free’ devices. In actuality, these pendants can be obtained through local council social services, and they are genuinely free. My father received one, as did a couple of his neighbours, and they also installed complimentary emergency pull cords in various rooms of his house-bedroom, living room, kitchen, and bathroom! By the way, does anyone happen to know how to say ‘piss off’ in Hindi?
