I got a call about housing maintenance, which sounded fishy. This is actually the third time I’ve received calls like this from numbers that are alike. The previous two came from numbers ending in 103 and 898. Every time I block one number, a different but similar one rings me up. Proper annoying!

Just got a call from 020 3393 9342, from London. The man on the line said my name right away, so I just said hi back. Then he asked again if that was me and said my name once more. I responded with another hello and out of nowhere he shouted something like "Are you pretending you can’t hear me, you motherf****r." Tried calling back to speak to his manager but the number just wouldn’t connect to anyone. Feels dodgy, like they don’t want you to ring back for a reason. Total scam alert, watch out!

Today, I received a rather articulate phone call from a gentleman trying to sell me a life insurance plan. He insisted it was sensible to consider such an investment given the current climate. However, when I expressed my reservations, feeling I'm perhaps a tad too young for such commitments, he became quite insistent and increasingly forceful. It struck me as rather suspicious; I suspect I was dealing with a scammer!
