I received a rather dubious call claiming that my energy costs were set to soar by a staggering 45% this month, with an even higher jump of 70% in August! They insisted they could help keep the rates in check, all the while insisting I was a customer of Eon, when in fact I’m with Shell Energy. The moment I challenged their claims, the line went dead-absolutely appalling behaviour attempting to swindle vulnerable folks, especially with so many already facing tough times.
