Got a call from a lady who sounded Indian, saying she had some questions to ask. Told her I was working and really couldn’t chat right then. She kept insisting it would only take around 40 seconds, but kept going on and on without actually asking anything. I had to cut her off and hang up while she was still talking because she was just repeating herself nonstop. She rang me back like 4 more times that same day, super irritating. Ended up blocking the number.

Loads of these calls come from dodgy, computer-made numbers pretending to be from all over the globe, but definitely not from the places their caller ID shows. You really ought to report every one of these scams to the police’s action fraud phishing site. Just Google ‘action fraud’ and it’ll show you how to make a proper complaint.
