I tried calling this number again, but there was no response.

I've just had a rather dodgy call from this number, claiming they could lower my broadband bill. As soon as I mentioned that I'm still tied into a contract, they abruptly ended the call. It feels suspicious, as if they were trying to trick me into giving them some sort of confirmation to pull a fast one with my details. Certainly not the sort of behaviour I'd expect!

BT, who handle my broadband, claimed I was being overbilled and tried to get my personal details from me. When they asked for more info beyond just my address, I just blocked the call.

Got a call from some guy with an accent claiming to be EDF. I told him I wasn't a customer and just ended the call. Went ahead and blocked that number straight away!
