I just had a call claiming they were going to disconnect my internet, but the firm they said they worked for wasn’t even the one I use! It’s really worrying how often this happens nowadays. Got a call from a guy with an accent claiming to be from some ISA company, trying to push their ISA scheme. When I asked which company the investment was through, he just cut the call.

Had a call from a lady when I wasn’t home, and my old mum answered instead. She said it was something to do with an ISA and wanted our address. Then my 12-year-old grabbed the phone off his gran, and the woman started asking him for our email to get in touch. Sadly, he gave it to her. I tried ringing back but the number just shows up as unknown. Pretty sure it’s one of those scam calls. I’ve warned both my mum and son not to chat to these callers or share any info with them again.

Got a 4th call from some Asian bloke who said his name was Sam. He claimed he was ringin’ about my ISA and said he got my number from the FCA, which sounded dodgy to me. He told me he was calling from Birmingham and even dropped a road name, but when I asked more about the area, it was clear he was making it up. Then, when I pointed out their number was actually from London, he just ended the call on me. Proper scam, I reckon.

I got three calls within like 15 minutes, finally picked up and some bloke with an Asian accent started going on about my ISA account - I don’t even have one! Told him to stop wasting my time and to get lost.
