I had a run-in with a company named Direct Recruitment. They wouldn’t even send my CV anywhere unless I forked out a lot for a course that’s really unnecessary. Plus, they never mentioned which firms they were dealing with or explained where they got my info from. Honestly, steer clear of these lot!

Got a call from someone saying they were City Jobs recruitment. They told me I’d applied for a Finance & Investment position, which is totally not right because I’ve never sent them an application, plus that’s not even my area of work. The voice sounded foreign too, but the name they gave was very English. I’m pretty sure it’s some kind of phishing scam going on here.
