I received a call of the same nature today. It's astonishing considering the worsening state of the COVID-19 crisis. People really can be foolish.

I’ve just had a rather dubious offer for a table of ten at the Twickenham rugby match. Apparently, someone who’d put down a deposit is now unable to attend - how unfortunate for them! They’re asking for a whopping £11,000 for the privilege of sitting at this table. I’ve been warned to hurry as they claim only three tables are still available. It sounds like there's been quite a few people losing their deposits lately! I insisted they take my number off their list, and they assured me they would, but time will tell if they actually do!

I received a call on my mobile today from a number I didn't recognise, and I couldn't help but inquire who was on the other end and what they wanted. The chap was rather impolite, so I didn't hold back and rather pointedly advised him to take a hike. The caller's identity? A mystery.
