11 yearsTotal con artists! I booked a ticket and they snatched £50 as a "deposit" from my account. Shortly after, I got an email from someone named Chris Matthew. Curiously, my name was spelled wrong, so I shot a reply to correct it, but no response came my way. Trying to sort it out, I rang the number and asked to speak to Chris Matthew (@5 continents travel), but the call just disconnected. I tried ringing back multiple times, but all I got was an automated message saying the lines were busy, and I couldn't leave a voicemail. Just for kicks, I called from a different number and surprise, surprise, it was picked up! That was when the alarm bells started ringing, and I realised it was all a scam.
