On 26th April this year, we got a call saying they noticed we were searching for cheap flights. After a lengthy conversation, we ended up handing over £1750, basically all our savings, for what we thought was a dream holiday. We tried ringing them loads of times but never got an answer, so I left a very angry message threatening to report them to the police. When they finally picked up again, they gave us a reservation number. I then contacted Turkish Airlines, where we were supposedly booked, and they confirmed the booking but said they hadn’t received any payment. After calling them repeatedly again, our calls went unanswered. They go by Travel Master 4U, with the email [email protected], and they ask for money to be sent straight to their HSBC account. We have definitely been scammed.

They gave me a ring from this number, i ended up handing over £400 as a deposit for some tickets, but then they cancelled everything and never gave my deposit back. Proper frustrating!

Got a call from some biz called Travelzoo UK, they said they could sort my mate with cheap flights for his holiday. He swears blind he’s never even been on their site, www.travelzoouk.co.uk. When we looked up who owns the site, it’s linked to some house on Duke Street in Rochdale. They also refused to give us their ATOL number so we couldn’t check if they’re legit on the official ATOL site. Feels a bit dodgy to me.
