Got an email saying my NatWest debit card was frozen due to a suspicious Amazon purchase of £267.99. It urged me to ring 0203 3707 110 right away if I didn't recognise the payment. Luckily, I checked with a mate before calling, and we both agreed it seemed dodgy. This could easily catch someone out if they’re not careful. The email had official looking details and all, but something felt off. Just a heads up to anyone else who might get the same message - don’t rush into calling that number!

I accidentally dialled this number after getting caught up in a scam regarding "suspicious activity" at my bank. I foolishly shared my customer ID before it dawned on me that I was being conned.
