I just hung up and blocked the number since I didn't recognise who it was.

My phone rang so I picked up, but when I did, there was silence. Then out of nowhere, a robotic voice came on and just said goodbye after a beep. Weird!

Today, I received both a text and a phone call from them concerning a re-mortgage application! It's honestly quite vexing and rather concerning, as I can assure you that I haven’t been involved in any such thing! They claimed that I had been browsing online for options, which is also completely untrue. I've been bombarded with two calls and two text messages throughout the day. I've since blocked the number and responded with a 'STOP' to their texts.
