At first, a woman with an Indian accent chatted with me, then she passed me to a man who sounded quite aggressive and also Indian. When I started to ask tricky questions, he began shouting down the phone. He kept demanding my bank details and said the police were listening in on the call, so he supposedly couldn’t scam me. Having worked in the police for about 20 years, I knew straight away this wasn’t true. I told him so, and the line went dead.
