I received a phone call from an individual who made a menacing comment about coming over to "break down" my walls because I don't have cavity walls.

Some bloke from India rang asking about my boiler. I told him I'd just had a new one installed and he just said "Alright, cheers" and hung up. Seems to do the trick every time.

I really think the authorities should step in and shut these people down for good. Locking up the people behind this for a proper stretch might actually scare others from trying the same. It's about time someone did something!

The caller's number is now being kept private, however, their voice is familiar. They claim to be Brian, although they speak with a foreign accent. They have called twice.

Got a call about some boiler thing, they were asking if I owned a house. I said I actually live in a shed, but she just kept going on about boilers. Eventually she just gave up and hung up. Annoying people these days!

Today I received a ring from this number. A lady with an Asian accent asked if she could speak to whoever lives at the address. I said no since they didn’t have a name to check. Seems like these pushy firms are trying new tricks to reach people in the UK market. The number seems like a proper UK landline, but when I tried calling back, it said it wasn’t recognised. Don’t forget, companies like BT profit by handing out these fake numbers to let these calls slip through. It’s all a bit of a nuisance, honestly.

Had a call today, 23rd Feb 2017 around 5:52pm, from a lady saying “goodbye”. Could this be just BT phoning up to push their phone offers or something? Sounds a bit fishy to me.

I have received multiple calls from a particular phone number. It is an automated system with a female voice claiming to be from HMRC, mentioning that it is regarding a case. I was prompted to press '1' in order to speak with an advisor. However, at that moment, I decided to end the call. Since then, I have chosen not to answer whenever that particular number appears on my phone screen.

I tripped over the dog trying to pick up this annoying call, and all I got was silence before the automated 'goodbye' kicked in. Thank goodness they didn’t catch what I muttered back. Someone needs to put a stop to these!

I keep receiving calls from a company claiming to provide free boilers, referring to themselves as Energy Savers. Just last month, I was inundated with around twenty calls regarding my eligibility. After they gathered a few details, they mysteriously stopped contacting me. Fast forward a week, and I encountered an Indian supervisor who abruptly ended the call when I pressed him for more information. It appeared he didn’t even have a clue about the earlier conversations! This second batch of callers also seemed to be from India. I’ll be reporting the number to the authorities and have informed the police about the situation. I've decided to reach out to Trading Standards as well. These calls have been nothing short of a complete nuisance!

I received a call today, but it was from a different group than the lady who had been calling me almost every day for the past three weeks. They had also been calling my husband's phone to obtain information about me. Today's call seemed to come from an Indian call centre. A young lady spoke first, followed by a supervisor who was a man. He refused to provide his name and was providing incorrect information regarding my eligibility for benefits. It seemed that he was trying to pry information from me regarding whether I had young children. I informed him that I would need to verify his legitimacy, which angered him and led me to threaten calling the police. I followed through with my threat and have lodged a complaint. The guy promptly hung up as soon as I mentioned calling the police. It is important not to disclose any personal information in situations like these, as they are likely scams.

Got a call, I picked up, held for a moment, then this woman with a black accent just said "goodbye". Seems like some automated service with not enough people to actually handle the calls they make. I've been on the no cold calls list for ages, so pretty sure it's one of those irritating sales calls anyway.

Once again, we received an infuriating call from these bothersome individuals this morning. The phone startled us with its incessant ringing, only to be met with silence upon answering. Then, a woman with a distinct Jamaican accent bid us farewell. It seems that this time it may have been an automated call. With two seriously ill family members who require constant attention, we are always apprehensive about receiving important emergency calls. Thus, these persistent calls must be strictly prohibited and thwarted without delay.

Someone rang me from this number about a boiler service. I said I wasn’t interested and asked them to take my number off their list, but the person was quite rude and refused. I ended the call. They phoned back and started being abusive, so I said I’d inform the police. The caller replied with something like, “Go ahead, report me to your dead dad if you want.” I hung up again but they kept ringing the house about 15 more times. Proper annoying!

I've had my number unlisted and been on the TPS for over a decade, yet this persistent woman with an accent kept phoning, claiming she could replace my boiler for free and kept asking how old it was. My phone blinked with an unknown number, actually it said no number showed up at all. When I answered, a strange foreign voice asked if I was the person living there. I told them straight away I don’t take calls from anyone who hides their number and then hung up. Not long after, the phone rang again showing 02033522252 on the screen. I answered but quickly ended it. Over the next few minutes, I got about eight more calls, some from that same number and others from nowhere. Finally, I picked up, let the call go on for about two minutes, and thankfully after that, the calls stopped.

Received a call today from an organization called the "Grant Advisory Service" who asked to speak to the owner. Curious, I inquired about the purpose of the call and they mentioned it was for a replacement boiler. However, I had never heard of the "Grant Advisory Service" and decided to dig deeper. I asked where they are based, and they informed me that it was in Leamington Spa. Being quite familiar with my geography, I then asked which county Leamington Spa is located in. To my surprise, they replied with Merseyside. This didn't seem right to me, as I know that Leamington Spa is not in Merseyside but rather a different location. I pressed further and questioned them about their phone number, which they claimed was 02035553791, yet based in Greater London. This conflicting information made no sense to me, so I pointed out their inconsistencies. After this revelation, the line went dead, indicating that they weren't able to provide any plausible explanations for their contradictions.
