This number has called me loads of times. The call was an automated woman’s voice claiming to be from HMRC, saying there’s an issue with a case. They then told me to press ‘1’ to talk to someone. I just ended the call straight away and now I don’t pick up if this number pops up again.

I keep receiving calls from a company claiming to provide free boilers, referring to themselves as Energy Savers. Just last month, I was inundated with around twenty calls regarding my eligibility. After they gathered a few details, they mysteriously stopped contacting me. Fast forward a week, and I encountered an Indian supervisor who abruptly ended the call when I pressed him for more information. It appeared he didn’t even have a clue about the earlier conversations! This second batch of callers also seemed to be from India. I’ll be reporting the number to the authorities and have informed the police about the situation. I've decided to reach out to Trading Standards as well. These calls have been nothing short of a complete nuisance!

They called earlier today, but it wasn’t the same people as the woman who phoned me about 20 times over the last few weeks. They even rang my husband’s phone asking about me. This time, it sounded like an Indian call centre - first a young woman, then a man who claimed to be her supervisor. He refused to tell me his name and gave me wrong details about benefits. He kept pushing for info about whether I had small kids. I told him I’d need to look into who he really was. That’s when he got nasty, so I said I’d ring the police - which I did, and I’ve made a formal complaint now. He hung up straight away, obviously. Don’t ever share your details - it’s definitely a scam.

Got a call today from a number that showed up as 0002033522252 on 1471. The person said they were from the “Grant Advisory Service” and wanted to talk to the homeowner. When I asked what it was about, they said something about a replacement boiler. I told them I’d never heard of that company before and asked where they’re located. They said Leamington Spa, which I know quite well. So I asked what county Leamington Spa was in, and they claimed Merseyside! I was pretty sure that’s not right. Then they gave me a different phone number, 02035553791, but the original call came from the other number which looked like it was from abroad. Since 0203 is a London number and the places don’t match up, I called them out on it. Right after I did, the line just went quiet and dropped. Pretty suspicious if you ask me!
