Got a call round 11:30 this morning from a woman with a strong Indian accent and a sort of laggy delay, making me think the call wasn’t even from the UK. She was pushing a 40% cut on my Sky bill. When she wanted my email for the Sky account, I told her I’d only give it if she proved she was really from Sky. As soon as I said that, she hung up on me. It was a billing call supposedly from Sam. Be careful, folks!

Definitely just another scam call.

Someone rang claiming to be from Sky, offering some massive 60% off deal. They knew a few bits of my info but the security question they asked wasn’t one I’d set up. Oddly, they wanted the first four digits of my direct debit as a “security check”. Plus, they had an outdated address on their file for me. Bit dodgy if you ask me.
