got a call from a guy with a thick indian accent claiming he was from microsoft and said my pc had issues. i suspected it was dodgy so i just humoured him. he had me do some simple stuff on my laptop, then asked if he could remote in. that’s when i asked him his name, which firm he worked for and a contact number. he said his name was david wamer and gave me an 0800 number. then when i requested a company address, he just hung up! definitely looks like a scam, so watch out folks.

The call was abruptly terminated as soon as our voicemail activated. Clearly, it's not someone whose conversation is worth having.

Beware of this number, it’s definitely a scam! Someone claiming to be from Windows contacted me regarding my computer. When I attempted to return the call, I was met with a message saying the number isn’t valid. Quite dodgy if you ask me!

Got a call from 02033457515 again today, second time in a few hours! Honestly, when will these muppets get the hint? It's obviously a scam. The bloke on the other end said his name was Jay, but as soon as I picked up, he just hung up. Next time they ring, I’m definitely recording it and chucking it on YouTube. Might have a laugh messing with them. Windows my foot, yeah right.

Got a call supposedly about a virus my computer had caught, feeling sorry for the poor thing. They said it was really serious, and I joked, "Oh no, should I give it some antibiotics then?" The bloke just hung up on me, so cheeky! I couldn't help but laugh, been watching loads of these scam videos on YouTube, it's easy to spot they're fakes. Never give them any details or follow their instructions, just mess around a bit to keep it light. I even started mimicking their accent, saying things like, "Ranjeev, is that you? How come you ended up in Wales?" Then blocked him right away. Proper laugh!

Someone rang up saying there was an issue with my computer and told me to turn it on and press some keys. I was in the kitchen prepping lunch, so I just played along to see where they’d go with it. They kept asking what I could see on the screen. I just replied, “What do you expect? I’m staring at my pot of soup here.” Eventually, they snapped, “Are you thick or what?" Pretty clear it was a dodgy scam.

I’m pretty certain that it should be possible to track down who’s behind this number. I’ve got a really good branded phone with caller ID that I’d definitely suggest to anyone. I can hear the calls from any room in my home, so I have the choice to just not pick up if I want to. After getting a call, I waited about ten minutes and then phoned the number back to see if anyone was there. It came up as an unrecognised number. This feels like it can’t be legal, surely the phone companies have some way to identify where these calls originate from.

I find it hard to believe that the individuals behind this number can't be located. My top-notch telephone allows me to hear who's calling from any room in the house, and I can easily choose to decline the call if I wish. Just a short while later, I decided to return the call, hoping to get a response and express my displeasure. However, to my astonishment, I was met with a message stating the number is unrecognised. It seems quite dubious, and surely there must be a telecom provider out there that can trace these calls back to their origin.

I received a rather suspicious call on my home phone from this number. The caller claimed to be investigating issues related to my 'Windows computer', yet was quite vague about the specifics. The chap had a strong accent that sounded Indonesian to me. He couldn’t clarify what he meant by 'Windows computer', just kept repeating that term. When I inquired how he got my contact information - considering I've only recently relocated - he mentioned having a vast database of computers. I expressed my disbelief regarding their authenticity, and he promptly ended the call. It's puzzling what their actual intentions were, and I'm left wondering what they were after.
