Noticed the call was coming from abroad, so I didn’t say anything since I’ve heard these calls activate by voice. Hung on for a bit but no one replied at first. Then this voice finally came through with loads of noise from what sounded like a call centre. I just ended the call and then dialled 1572 to block the number.

They say they're from tech support and tell you to visit some site like [#]quicksupportI###] so they can access your computer, but it’s just a total scam.

I got a call from someone with a foreign accent, real polite, saying they were from my internet company’s tech team. I wasn’t convinced, so asked her to say it again, and then she said it was about my computer. Didn’t feel right at all, so I just hung up.
