Got a call from this number, and a woman said she was from BT, telling me my computer had some errors. She wanted me to check my PC, but I asked her who my internet provider was first. As soon as she couldn’t give me that info, she just hung up. I knew it was a scam right away because no legitimate provider would call like that. Had a call from an Asian woman claiming to be from BT, checking on my wellbeing but telling me there was an issue with my broadband, even though it was working fine while she spoke. The woman kept on going even after I said I’m with the Police, know the scam inside out and don’t even have BT broadband. Shows how desperate these fraudsters are. Saturday, I got a call from a woman speaking with a foreign accent, saying it was about my BT broadband. I told her I’m not a BT customer, but she kept saying they were about to cut off my broadband. Got a call from the same woman with an Indian/Pakistani accent today, she said my internet was going to be cut off for 2 months because it had a virus. When I asked who she was with, she said BT. I said I’d call BT to check and she just hung up. I phoned BT and told them, and they said they’re tracking all these calls. They advised me that if you get any annoying calls, just hang up and then call 1572, press 1, and it blocks that number from calling you again. It works for loads of numbers and it’s free. Hope this helps anyone getting these calls!

somebody seems to be messing with my computer late at night cause now it’s full of viruses - I told this indian woman I don’t even own a computer but she kept pushing me to get one and switch it on right away. This number has been ringing me like crazy, starting as early as 8 in the morning, and honestly, it's driving me up the wall. I tried calling back, only to get a message saying their voicemail is full and can't take any more messages. Wish I could say the exact same thing to them!!!

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming she was from BT Internet, saying my computer was full of viruses. She wanted me to press the windows key plus R and type EVENTVWR in the run box. Obviously I didn’t follow her instructions, and when I questioned her, she called me stupid and was seriously rude! The number she called from was 02033 444 874. Surely the authorities and phone companies can track down whoever’s paying the bill and put an end to these dodgy scams?

This number 02033444874 has rung me about 4 times this morning since 8am and twice yesterday as well! When I pick up and say hi, there's dead silence or you can hear loads of background noise like a call centre but no one actually talks back. Definitely feels like some kind of scam!

Got a call today from 02033444874 telling me my computer was sending some kind of message and there was an issue. When I asked who she was with, the woman said "Microsoft". I just ended the call and looked up the number here. Really glad sites like this exist, saved me from a scam.

gettin calls every hour this mornin on a saturday from a guy with a pakistani accent, mostly just hangin up. on the 4th call i finally asked straight up who it was and they just shouted back then cut off. seems real shady and like a scam, so best just ignore and hang up straight away.
