Got a call from this number, and a woman said she was from BT, telling me my computer had some errors. She wanted me to check my PC, but I asked her who my internet provider was first. As soon as she couldn’t give me that info, she just hung up. I knew it was a scam right away because no legitimate provider would call like that. Got a call from a woman saying my internet was acting up while gaming. She said she was from BT, but I don’t even have BT as my provider. Received a rather peculiar call from a woman claiming to represent BT, even though I'm not even a customer of theirs! She started off by saying there was a glitch with my internet while I was gaming. Had a call from an Asian woman claiming to be from BT, checking on my wellbeing but telling me there was an issue with my broadband, even though it was working fine while she spoke. I've been bombarded with calls lately, the first one kicking off today at half past eight. I was waiting for a call, so I picked up when an Asian-accented woman began rambling on about some issues with my internet. I kindly but firmly asked her to stop frittering away our time and requested that she refrain from calling me again.

The woman kept on going even after I said I’m with the Police, know the scam inside out and don’t even have BT broadband. Shows how desperate these fraudsters are. Like others have said, it’s all fun and games until they catch someone who’s vulnerable and actually believes their rubbish.

Got loads of calls over a few days. Answered one yesterday and told them straight up they were running a scam. Guy admitted they lie to folks but said they don't insult anyone!! Got a call from an Indian lady saying there’s an issue with my wifi and that they’d be disconnecting me for two months. I told her straight up it was a scam and nonsense. I received a call from a young woman with an Indian accent who was attempting to discuss something pertaining to my computer. Unfortunately, I couldn’t quite catch what she was saying. Before I could clarify, she hung up.

Just like others said, I got loads of missed calls yestday but no one left a voicemail. I looked up the number here and saw what people had to say. Got another ring this morning from someone claiming to be from 'your internet provider'. I told em they had reached Microsoft UK and asked which team they wanted - heard some mumbling then they just cut off.

Got a call from the same woman with an Indian/Pakistani accent today, she said my internet was going to be cut off for 2 months because it had a virus. When I asked who she was with, she said BT. I said I’d call BT to check and she just hung up. I phoned BT and told them, and they said they’re tracking all these calls. They advised me that if you get any annoying calls, just hang up and then call 1572, press 1, and it blocks that number from calling you again. It works for loads of numbers and it’s free. Hope this helps anyone getting these calls!

I've received a call from someone claiming to be from BT, inquiring about my computer's sluggish performance. They were quite persistent in asking whether they could gain remote access to help 'improve' things for me. It's clear they're nothing but con artists!

somebody seems to be messing with my computer late at night cause now it’s full of viruses - I told this indian woman I don’t even own a computer but she kept pushing me to get one and switch it on right away. I've received a staggering four calls from this number, starting at the crack of dawn around 8 o'clock. Honestly, I'm beyond frustrated! When I attempted to ring them back, I was greeted with a message saying their voicemail is completely full and they're unable to take more calls. I wish I could return the favour and let them know the same!

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming she was from BT Internet, saying my computer was full of viruses. She wanted me to press the windows key plus R and type EVENTVWR in the run box. Obviously I didn’t follow her instructions, and when I questioned her, she called me stupid and was seriously rude! The number she called from was 02033 444 874. Surely the authorities and phone companies can track down whoever’s paying the bill and put an end to these dodgy scams?

This number 02033444874 has rung me about 4 times this morning since 8am and twice yesterday as well! When I pick up and say hi, there's dead silence or you can hear loads of background noise like a call centre but no one actually talks back. Definitely feels like some kind of scam!

Got a call today from 02033444874 telling me my computer was sending some kind of message and there was an issue. When I asked who she was with, the woman said "Microsoft". I just ended the call and looked up the number here. Really glad sites like this exist, saved me from a scam.

gettin calls every hour this mornin on a saturday from a guy with a pakistani accent, mostly just hangin up. on the 4th call i finally asked straight up who it was and they just shouted back then cut off. seems real shady and like a scam, so best just ignore and hang up straight away.
