I received a rather intrusive phone call from a company claiming to be e Smart Appliances. They informed me that they could help me save £100 on appliance cover, which I actually don't have at all! Their offer was to insure my fridge freezer and washing machine for £164 annually, but they insisted I set up a direct debit immediately. When I mentioned I couldn't agree to that on the spot, they abruptly hung up. Despite being on the Telephone Preference Service, I continue to be bombarded by around four of these unwelcome calls daily. It's quite frustrating, to be honest!
