11 monthsGot a call earlier today, 7th August 2025 around 3:50pm, from 020 3337 9975. A young lady with an Indian accent said she was from Lyca Mobile, but I don’t even use them! When I noticed the 020 code, I immediately guessed it might be some scam. So, I pretended to be a doddery old lady just to mess about and kill her time. But she just hung up on me. If you get a call like this and have a moment, try to keep them chatting - might stop someone else falling for their tricks.Lyca Mobile2 yearsTotally a scam call.Fraudster2 yearsGot a call supposedly from O2, asking if my signal was alright. Reading through the other comments here, it seems like this might be some kind of scripted call, probably something their bosses told them to say. I told the bloke that it seemed like a phishing scam and that I’d be reporting the number to the UK Fraud folks. When I asked for their company address, there was a dead silence before he just ended the call.UK Fraud2 yearsRang me and then promptly disconnected.2 yearsI received a call from someone claiming to be from a life insurance firm about their services. I really can't stand unsolicited calls like that!2 yearsSomeone rang me claiming they were from my life insurance provider.2 yearsGot a call from a lady with an Indian accent saying I could get 30% off my O2 bill. Thing is, I don't even use O2. I went along with it for a bit and she asked for my email. When I asked how many calls like this were just scams, she got all rude, started swearing at me, then just hung up. Definitely stay clear of these.2 yearsGot a call from an 02 number, some Indian woman on the line flashing discounts. She never asked for any security info though, and didn’t even know my name lol. Then out of nowhere, she claimed I needed to share personal info to get the discount. So, the real question is, did she even know my name? ๐๐2 yearsGot a call supposedly from O2 offering a 30% discount on my bill and asking if my service was ok. I said yes, then they said they'd ring me back about the discount. Sounded dodgy to me, why bother calling again? Surely they could just apply it then and there. I figured that's when they'd try to grab your personal info. So I rang back, but it wasn’t O2 at all, just some voicemail setup. Be careful folks, don’t fall for it!O2Submit Your Own Report (020 3337 9957)
