I received a rather dodgy recorded message from HMRC stating that I’ve engaged in some sort of fraud. What utter nonsense! I had a similar call just yesterday, which originated from Manchester, and today’s was from London. I’ve done a bit of digging on a site that identifies callers, and it turns out it’s a complete scam. Honestly, these chancers should be locked up! This is absolutely perilous, so don’t even think about picking up after the recorded message starts!
