Terrible call, some weird bloke on the line who insisted it wasn’t a sales pitch but just wanted to see if we qualified for free home upgrades. He asked if we owned the house, were over 80, and if there was a loft. Then suddenly he just hung up. Marked it as harassing since they’ve rung a few times now.

My call blocker stopped a call from this number the other day. I've noticed I've been getting loads of calls from this number and a few that look pretty much the same. To me, they all feel like scam attempts, so I always treat them as dodgy. Whenever I get these, I make sure to report them both to Action Fraud and also sign them up with the telephone preference service to try and keep them off my phone permanently.

I've had this happen twice in just two days now. When I pick up the phone, there's no one on the other end. Quite puzzling, really!

Got a call about some suspicious activity on my account, supposedly two dodgy transactions. Turned out the call itself was the dodgy thing, so I just blocked the number straight away!
