I got a call from someone who didn't speak great English, they emailed me a link saying if I changed my password I'd get 30% off my O2 plan. I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away! But I reckon not everyone would be so cautious, like my mum might've clicked the link and updated her password just to snag the discount!

I recently had a missed call and decided to return it, only to find myself speaking to a lady with a strong Asian accent. She claimed to be from the "upgrade" team at Three, offering me a complimentary iPhone if I signed a new contract. She even asked which model I would prefer! When I queried her about confirming my name and address, she mentioned that all she had was my phone number.

Strikes me as a bit dodgy, so I went ahead and blocked the number.
