I got a call from someone claiming to be with O2. When I asked if it was legit, he said yes and mentioned he’d send me a couple of texts to prove it. I told him to go on, but then suddenly the call dropped. Definitely a scammer trying to trick people. I reckon O2’s data must have been seriously compromised, but they don’t seem bothered about sorting it. Be careful with these calls!

Got called THREE times today, all from different numbers, all saying they were O2. By the third one, I told them I wasn’t buying it since I’d checked the O2 app and their real support wasn’t even working over the bank holiday. The person on the line just said they were doing their job and then wished me a good night. Bit odd if you ask me!

To be honest, their English was quite poor, making it all rather confusing. Couldn’t make heads or tails of it, so I’ve now blocked the number!
