This was a dodgy call. They acted like a proper company just to trick me into giving my credit card details and then tried to charge me. Best to avoid speaking to them at all!

I got a call on my mum's phone, she's in her seventies, and the person on the line already knew her name and some health problems. They were pushing these black garlic pills and kept trying to get her to pay over the phone with her card. Mum’s pretty sharp and wouldn’t give them her card details, so she grabbed the number and told them she’d ring back. I was lucky to be there when it happened, so I checked the number afterwards and saw loads of other people had left similar warnings. Definitely a dodgy scam.

Got a call and they asked my husband about some appointment he supposedly had in November about joint pain. Lucky for him, he’s never had any issues like that, so he quickly worked out it was dodgy. He let them chat on for a bit though. They ended up trying to pitch some vitamins to him.

My elderly aunt who has dementia got a call from someone pretending to be from a healthcare service. They tried to trick her into giving personal info. It’s awful that people take advantage of the vulnerable like that. Such a nasty scam.

My Nan got a call from someone claiming they were from some well-being group linked to Birmingham City Council, selling aloe vera stuff. They tried to get her bank info, but thankfully I told her it sounded like a scam and she just ended the call. Watch out, these lot are definitely scammers!

Got a call from someone checking on my 'pain' and when I asked what pain they meant, an Indian voice said it was my back. Told them I didn’t have any back pain, so he switched to asking about joint pain. I just replied, "Not today, scammer, try elsewhere." He swore at me, calling me some rude names - lost his cool totally, hahaha. Needless to say, he’s blocked now.

I got a call from a woman who said she was 101! She mentioned they’d tried to reach her back in January about a charity for elderly folks. The lady asked if she managed her money herself and if she had family around. When I said my son takes care of all that stuff, the caller suddenly ended the call pretty fast.

Got 2 calls in a row from some wellness place askin’ for my mum. I told ’em this was a blocked number and we got a call filter thing on our line, but they still managed to get through. I explained that the line’s just for family and close mates, not for random callers. Then they rang again after just a couple minutes, but I just hung up on ’em.

They say they’re from some health products company, just like others have mentioned. It’s crazy how much personal info they seem to have - phone numbers, addresses and all - but most of it is totally outdated. I don’t know where they dig up this stuff from. Honestly, don’t bother returning their calls, it’s just another scam trying to trick folks out of their cash!

I recognised the number before picking up and braced myself, thinking "here we go again." When I finally answered, I made a point of speaking loudly, saying "THIS HAD BETTER BE IMPORTANT." A woman answered and sounded confused, asking what I meant. I asked her why she was ringing this particular number, and she said it was about my health and wellbeing, Mr {surname}. I told her my health was perfectly fine and hung up. I think she wasn’t expecting such a sharp reply, probably caught off guard instead of the usual mess I might’ve just let slide if I wasn’t quick enough.

Got a call from Roy who said he was checking in after a long chat we’d had about my knee arthritis last November. I tried to tell him I never spoke to him before and don’t have any knee problems. He kept insisting they only called me because I’m supposed to be on the state pension. When I told him I’m not eligible yet, he finally stopped trying.

Got a call out of the blue at 09:51, and the person just jumped right into asking me questions for some kind of "senior citizens" survey. When I told them I’m not a senior at all, they just cut the call off halfway through. Pretty pointless and feels dodgy to me. The caller said they were from "Net-Work Internet Ltd" in Rhewl, Wales, but from what I’ve read online, scammers in India seem to be using their numbers and website. Honestly, I don’t care who it is, but nobody in Wales or India should be ringing me up like this.

I responded to inquiries regarding my health because they seemed rather plausible. I mentioned that I wasn't taking any vitamins or supplements, and they didn’t probe any further. In hindsight, I ought to have cottoned on to the fact that it was a con, as I typically decline all such queries.

The caller identified himself as Roy, representing the Wellbeing Clinic, and inquired about my struggles with a prostate issue. I firmly told him that I had no such troubles, to which he mentioned he was merely following up from a supposed conversation we had back in October 2022. I received a call where they were inquiring about my mother, who's retired. They abruptly ended the conversation when they found out they were speaking to me, her daughter. I suspect it might be a scam of some sort. Unfortunately, I couldn't ascertain what their motive was, but I have a hunch it might be that health centre promoting their vitamins again, as we've had our share of hassle from them in the past, and I've firmly told them 'no' on several occasions!

So this woman called me from 02033322616, said her name was Rachael and wanted to sell me some pills that she claimed would really boost my mood. She sounded polite and quite sincere, but she asked for my visa card info, which made me pause. After thinking it over, I chose not to share any of my personal details. Then I stumbled upon this site and it confirmed my instincts were spot on. Glad I didn’t fall for it!

While visiting my 86-year-old mum, I got a call from this lad Jason Diaz, who said he was a manager at some wellbeing centre. My mum usually ignores these cold calls, so she handed me the phone. Jason asked if she had joint pain then tried to pitch some joint care stuff with glucosamine and chondroitin, saying pensioners could get it for just over £20. I had a quick look online during the call and found it way cheaper elsewhere. Checked the number he gave me too, and found some dodgy reviews about scams. So I told him the number’s been flagged as a scam and ended the call.

Just got a sketchy call trying to sell me Aloe vera at some ridiculous price, when you can get it online for like £5.99? It definitely felt like one of those phishing attempts to steal card info. Really dodgy stuff.

I received a call from someone who seemed to think I was suffering from arthritis. They weren't very clear about their 'Wellbeing' organisation, and I decided to end the conversation before it went any further.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent saying he’d talked to me last October from some Wellbeing centre about my arthritis. I told him I had no memory of that chat and that I’m actually quite healthy, hitting the gym regularly. Then he said I should be careful given my age. I asked him how old he thought I was since he seemed so sure about our supposed convo. He just said maybe I needed help with my memory and then I just ended the call. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

I’ve had to report this number two times now to Action Fraud. Back in April, they rang my 80-year-old aunt, and today they tried again asking for her bank info. A woman called ‘Carol’ claimed she’s selling tablets for £125 that supposedly cure arthritis. She spoke to my aunt like they were old friends or something. After my aunt hung up, ‘Carol’ actually phoned right back.

My aunt has received a couple of calls from this number, both times trying to fish for her banking information. The first call was back in April 2021, and then there was another in October 2021. Apparently, the caller went on about it being six months since my aunt supposedly ordered some tablets, which is completely untrue. It was rather bizarre as she even asked if my aunt could just stroll over to grab her bank details!

Got a call from some bloke checking on my aching joints. He joked it had to be my missus feeling it, not me. Kept going on about just doing his job, the lad did.

I got a call from an Asian woman who never said who she was. She asked for my father-in-law by name, claiming he wanted her to ring, but wouldn't give me any other details. Seemed a bit suspicious to me!

Got a call from a lady with an Asian accent, saying she was from some Wellbeing centre. She asked if I was alright and if arthritis was bothering me since apparently I'm a senior. I told her if I ever have health issues, I’d just check with my doctor. After that, she thanked me and ended the call.

Got a call on 17th June around 5pm from some wellbeing centre. The lady on the line had a really strong Asian accent. Honestly, I don’t get why this number’s still active, constantly ringing me up with nonsense I never asked for. I’m on the telephone preference service, so why am I still getting these annoying calls? Hopefully, with the new rules and big fines coming in, they’ll finally crack down on these persistent cold callers, especially from companies that are clearly registered here.

I don’t recognise this number, but it has reached out to me before. I tend to avoid answering calls from unfamiliar numbers, as I prefer if they leave a message so I can decide whether to return the call. Unfortunately, this particular caller hasn’t done so.

Got a call from a woman with a foreign accent claiming to be from some wellness centre in London. When I asked where exactly she was calling from, she said Hounslow - I mentioned that it’s a bit of a sketchy area these days! Supposedly, she was ringing to check some details about my health. I told her I don’t share personal stuff with people who call out of the blue. She just said alright and ended the call. This happened at 12.51pm on Wednesday 14/4/21.

So I've got this setup where it tells me who's calling and I can choose to pick up or ignore the call after they say something. But this one time, when I asked who they were, there was just silence. Like, nothing at all. I tried saying hello a few times but no response whatsoever. That’s when I figured it was probably some scam and just went ahead and blocked the number.

When I picked up the phone, there was complete silence on the other end. I just kept the line open to see what would happen. After a few minutes, I heard some beeping noises that went on for nearly a minute before stopping. Eventually, I decided to hang up. This happened on the 8th of April 2021 at around 3:26 pm. The call came through to my landline, which I hardly ever use.

Got a call from someone called Nancy claiming to be from the Well-being Centre. She was really friendly and sounded genuine at first. Asked me a couple of questions and then tried to sell me some herbal remedy at a discounted rate. She left me a number to ring back, but as soon as she started asking for my card details, I ended the call nicely.
