I know we’re supposed to just hang up, but my daughter’s pretty quick on her feet, so she decided to mess about with them. When they rang asking if she’d been in some sort of accident, she said yeah, she was parked outside the pub totally hammered. Then she claimed they wanted her to move my lorry, which she said she did, but joked she crashed into a bus full of nuns while doing it. When they wanted a name, she told them it was Hercules, and when they asked where she was from, she said Athens. That’s when they finally realised what was going on and hung up. Now we’ve made a game out of seeing how long we can keep them chatting - my daughter’s best so far is 7 minutes! Honestly, though, it’s best to just hang up and block their number straight away.
