On 5th July 2021, I got a call from 020 3332 0904. The person asked if I’d been involved in a crash, but they called me by a totally wrong name and then just hung up. When I tried to ring them back, the call wouldn’t go through - it just dropped straight away. Pretty suspicious if you ask me.

I received a rather dubious call from someone insisting that I was implicated in a car crash, and they demanded a staggering £500 in fees. It was all rather preposterous, and I suspect it’s just a typical cold call. I even pressed them three times about whether they were a cold caller, to which they adamantly replied no, claiming to represent some legal firm. Quite suspicious, to say the least!

Absolutely unpleasant experience. They claimed I was involved in a car crash and that I could claim over £1500. When I requested the contact details for their head office, the number provided was impossible to reach. **CAUTION ADVISED**

What an utterly impolite woman! I barely got a moment to ascertain who she claimed to represent before she launched into her spiel. I reminded her that ringing my number is against the rules since it’s on the do-not-call register, to which she had the audacity to quip about having plenty of time to chat with someone on that list. Ridiculous! Steer clear of this one!

I had a rather unsettling phone call just a few moments ago. The caller, identifying themselves as being from the Ministry of Justice, had the audacity to ask for me specifically by name, claiming they were following up on an accident I supposedly had. Naturally, my instincts kicked in and I promptly declared it a scam before hanging up. It genuinely worries me to think about how easily unsuspecting individuals could fall prey to such devious schemes. This kind of threat seems to be on the rise and shows no signs of abating. To add to my concerns, I’ve also been receiving calls on my work mobile from someone claiming to be from ‘Virgin Media’. The trouble is, I’ve never shared my work information with them, nor do I hold any account with the company. It’s imperative that action is taken to put an end to these insidious scams.

The chap had the nerve to know my name, and as we chatted, he turned rather arrogant. He insisted that I had been in some sort of mishap. I enjoy getting under their skin, you see, because while he was familiar with my name, the moment I inquired about my vehicle registration, that smug attitude of his really showed. He retorted that if I hadn’t been in an accident, he didn’t have to divulge anything further. I found it utterly amusing and couldn’t help but chuckle at his antics!

A woman rang me, knew who I was and claimed to be from the legal department of Motor Assist. She mentioned I had an overdue payment linked to my accident. Pardon? You don’t recall, do you? It was roughly within the past year and a half. Pray tell, when exactly? And just like that, she cut the call!

I didn't pick up since it was an unknown number. They didn’t leave a message, which is always a red flag for potential scam calls. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number, though I’m not sure how much good that will do.

I received a rather dubious call from 02033320904, claiming that I was implicated in a car accident. When I mentioned that the authorities were already handling the situation, I could tell immediately it was a scam. I asked them for their reference number, saying I’d like to pass it on to the police, but they just hung up on me! The irony is, I don’t even drive-what a farce!
