We received a postcard from a company called Global Couriers, sent through Royal Mail, informing us that they attempted to deliver a package while we were away. The phone number is printed on the card, urging us to give them a ring in order to sort out a new delivery time. However, we didn’t end up making the call.

I tried calling that number three times, only to be met with that insistent auto reply. Each time, I seemed to be wasting a penny while this continues. Once my phone bill arrives, I’ll get to the bottom of this. It feels like a bit of a swindle, doesn’t it? Just a new phone number handed on a plate! What a palaver!

We received a card as well. It struck me as peculiar that it was posted via royal mail and stamped on the very same day that "global couriers" tried to drop off a package. How curious! I stumbled upon a website for these global couriers, named globalcouriersessex.co.uk, and it's riddled with a shocking number of spelling errors-two of which are even in their own company name! I'm genuinely baffled and would love to unravel the mystery of who these folks actually are!

I dialled that one three times, but all I got was the same robotic voice each time. It’s starting to click in my head-this feels like a right swindle! Soon enough, we’ll have confirmation when our phone bill arrives. It seems like a ploy designed to lure us into dialing a number that’s all about raking in profits!
