It’s getting worse by the day! I got a call saying I’d made it to the last round of some contest and won a holiday or whatever. I tried to trip them up by waiting for them to use my name or any specifics. They definitely seemed to have some info, but when I asked where exactly I’d won it because I don’t usually enter these comps, they had some vague answer. Anyway, I told them I was driving and couldn’t chat, yet they keep ringing me every single day, sometimes ridiculously early or late at night. So annoying!

Got a call from these guys claiming I’d won a competition or something, and they even mentioned an old email of mine. They've been ringing me non-stop over the past few days. Mentioned an old email address I haven't used in ages, claimed I’d just taken part in a contest to win an iPhone - which I apparently didn’t win - but now I could join a “secret” lottery group. Basically, it’s a sales pitch trying to get you to buy into some lottery scheme. Not sure if it’s legit or not. Also had a few calls from different numbers this week doing the same thing, so I had to block them all. To be fair, the woman calling was quite friendly and had a good sense of humour, just doing her job, I guess.

I got a call where the person asked if they could speak to me by name. I said "this is he," and then a robotic voice came on saying I’d somehow made it to the final round of an iPhone 7 giveaway. They wanted to "verify" my info with some software, saying my bank details had disappeared or something. I was barely holding in my laughter when they asked me to repeat my password. So naturally, I told them it was "bugger off" and ended the call 😂

I got a call from someone claiming I’d won a competition and then asked for my bank info, which I didn’t give. When I asked who they were, they said Elite UK. I told them I was going to check their registration on the Companies House site where you can look up any business. Next thing, they put me through to a “manager” who gave me a number to call back in 30 minutes. Guess what? No trace of them anywhere on the official register! Whatever you do, DO NOT share your details with these lot. Still waiting on their call like a joke!

This number rings me like 4 to 6 times daily, and even if you put them on block, they just keep calling from different ones. Whenever I pick up, they tell me I’ve won a prize draw but then ask for my bank info, which sounds dodgy. Plus, if you do answer, they bombard you with loads of texts afterwards. Over the past week, I’ve had about 14 calls and nearly 22 texts from them. Proper annoying!

Yesterday my wife's phone rang and some bloke said she’d won an iPhone 7. Then today they rang my 16 year old lad’s phone. They read out my email (a Gmail one) but I wasn’t ready to share any info and ended the call. Then I googled the number to see who it was, landed on this site. Cheers for the heads-up - I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a call from someone claiming I'd won a prize and even said I had 500 Euromillions tickets or something. When they asked for my personal info to confirm, I just said no and then they ended the call. Best to just ignore calls like that.

I keep getting bombarded by calls non-stop.
I tried to get a free unlock code for my phone and to get it, they wanted me to fill out a survey. Thought it was just one, but after finishing one, there was another, then another. Ended up doing like 15 of these things, still no unlock code showed up.
Now, I’m getting constant calls every single day from all kinds of charities - feels like even from other planets or something! It never ends.

They never said which company they were from, so I started asking them all sorts of questions about their personal life, like their social stuff and s#x life. It was hilarious how fast they just dropped the call and vanished.

He called from a blocked number and with a British accent asked if this was (inserted my name). I replied "speaking" rather than just saying yes, and then asked who was on the line. Suddenly, they cut the call. I've heard about scams where they try to get you to say "yes" on record. Definitely suspicious!

Got a call earlier from a lady with an Asian accent saying I’d won a prize from some competition. She asked for my personal info, but I told her to jog on since I never signed up for anything. Obviously it’s a total scam to trick you into giving out your details. Don’t fall for it!

For days on end, this number kept blowing up my phone. Eventually, I picked up and the person claimed I'd won an iPhone 7. They then asked for my bank details - sort code, account number - the usual stuff, saying it was to set up some sort of online debit. They even wanted bank statements, payslips, and info from my online banking app. After that, they rabbit on about this online debit thing again, saying if I paid a certain amount, I could be rolling in the EuroMillions cash. When I refused to share any of my info, they put me through to some “manager”. Because I still wouldn’t give out my details, the call ended abruptly, no farewell or anything. Real dodgy, honestly.

This number keeps ringing me, and today I finally picked up. The person on the line claimed I'd won a prize - an iPhone 7 - and said they needed my info to confirm it. When I asked who exactly they were, they couldn’t give a clear answer that I could note down. I told them there’s no way I’d enter a competition for an iPhone since I’m a Samsung Galaxy S8+ user, and then they just hung up on me! Clearly, they were trying to fish for personal info. I’ve blocked the number now so it won’t bother me anymore.

Hey, I got a call from this number today. The person on the other end asked for my bank details and sort code, mentioned something about setting up a direct debit, but I had no clue what they were talking about. I asked them if they could give me their full name and date of birth first, but obviously they refused.

Just a heads up about 02033256412 - it's a lottery group with about 150 members. Everyone chips in roughly £40 a month. If nobody hits the jackpot, your entry rolls over free the following month. But if someone wins as little as £5, it gets shared out, leaving you with like 3p each. Honestly, do the maths. It's a con, you won’t see a decent payout until there’s like £30 or more per person.

Over the span of three days, this number kept buzzing me 12 times. I finally picked up on the 12th ring. Right away, they claimed I, then surprisingly mentioned my wife’s name, had done some online survey that supposedly signed me up for a chance to win a new iPhone. I told them I wasn’t my wife, but they just kept calling me by her name. Before long, they were asking where we did our banking and wanted the last four digits of our account. Doesn’t seem like typical scammers to me...
