It’s getting beyond a joke now! I keep receiving these nonsense calls claiming I've reached the final round of some competition and that I've supposedly won a holiday. I’ve tried to trip them up by holding off until they mention my name or provide other details, but they do seem to have some information. When I asked which competition I supposedly entered-since I hardly participate in any-I got a response which was a bit odd, to say the least. Got a call from these guys claiming I’d won a competition or something, and they even mentioned an old email of mine. I told them straight up I never entered any contest and told them to delete my info from their list, then ended the call. They phoned me back less than a minute later, complaining I was rude for hanging up and insisted I must have entered since they had my email. They've been ringing me non-stop over the past few days. Mentioned an old email address I haven't used in ages, claimed I’d just taken part in a contest to win an iPhone - which I apparently didn’t win - but now I could join a “secret” lottery group. I received a rather peculiar phone call today. The caller asked for me by name, and when I confirmed it was indeed me, they launched into this robotic spiel about winning a giveaway for an iPhone 7. Then, in a rather bizarre twist, they claimed there was an issue with my banking information having been wiped clean! I nearly burst into laughter when they requested my password again. I received a call earlier from someone claiming I'd entered a competition and then proceeded to request my bank details. Naturally, I declined to provide any information. When I inquired about the company’s name, they said it was Elite UK. I asked for their registration number so I could verify them on Companies House, the official register for businesses in the UK. I was then passed on to a so-called manager who provided a number, and encouraged me to ring back in half an hour after I'd done my checks. Well, surprise, surprise... I couldn't find any record of them! Whatever you do, steer clear of sharing any personal details with these folks! I’m still waiting for that return call…what a joke!

I've received calls from this number upwards of four to six times daily. Blocking seems futile, as they just keep on trying to reach me. If you happen to pick up the phone, they claim you’ve won a prize and then press for your bank information. They also bombard you with incessant texts if you engage with them. I returned the call and was informed I had supposedly triumphed in a competition for £1000 worth of ASDA vouchers through the internet. I made it clear that I hadn’t entered any such contest, yet they proceeded to read out my Gmail address. I told them, firmly, that I wouldn’t be divulging any personal information and that I was cutting the conversation short. After a quick search on Google for "Who is #" led me to this site, I decided to take action. Cheers to this community; I’ve now blocked that number on my mobile!

Got a call from someone claiming I'd won a prize and even said I had 500 Euromillions tickets or something. When they asked for my personal info to confirm, I just said no and then they ended the call. Best to just ignore calls like that.

Ringing incessantly. I was attempting to obtain a complimentary unlock code for my smartphone, but before it could even provide the code, it insisted I fill out a survey of sorts - one of three. I complied, but it felt relentless; by the time I’d completed it, I reckon I’d answered at least fifteen questions, and yet it continued-still no sign of that elusive free unlock code at the end. Furthermore, I'm inundated with calls non-stop, practically every hour, from seemingly every charity imaginable, even ones I’ve never heard of, from places that might as well be fictional!

They never said which company they were from, so I started asking them all sorts of questions about their personal life, like their social stuff and s#x life. It was hilarious how fast they just dropped the call and vanished.

They've been bombarding me with calls for days, sometimes even twice a day! So I decided to do a bit of detective work and discovered it's a dodgy operation fishing for bank details. Now, I'm just biding my time until they ring me again, as I plan to have a bit of fun and waste their precious time with nonsense. Can't wait for the chance! Haha!

He called from a blocked number and with a British accent asked if this was (inserted my name). I replied "speaking" rather than just saying yes, and then asked who was on the line. Suddenly, they cut the call. I've heard about scams where they try to get you to say "yes" on record. Definitely suspicious!

Got a call earlier from a lady with an Asian accent saying I’d won a prize from some competition. She asked for my personal info, but I told her to jog on since I never signed up for anything. Obviously it’s a total scam to trick you into giving out your details. Don’t fall for it!

I had this number persistently calling me for an age, and when I finally picked up, the caller claimed I’d won an iPhone 7. They proceeded to grill me about my bank details, asking for my account number and sort code so they could supposedly set up an online debit. They even requested my bank statements, payslips, and details from my online banking app. Then, the conversation took a bizarre turn. They started rambling on about this imaginary online debit account and insisted that if I forked out a certain amount, I’d be in for a chance at winning the EuroMillions! When I refused to divulge my personal information, they handed the call over to their 'manager'. Yet, as soon as I reiterated my refusal to share any details, the manager abruptly hung up on me-no farewell, nothing!

I've received numerous calls from this number, and today I finally picked up. The caller claimed I'd won an iPhone 7 in some sort of competition and urged me to provide all my personal information to enter the prize draw. When I pressed him about his identity, he was rather vague and refused to give me a specific name to note down. As soon as I told him that I'd never signed up for such a competition, especially since I'm a devoted Samsung S8+ user, he abruptly hung up! Clearly, they were out to gather personal details. I've now added this number to my block list.

Greetings! Just wanted to share a little experience I had today. I received a call from this number, and they were fishing for my account information, including sort code and details about some direct debit I had no knowledge of. Naturally, I asked them to confirm their name and date of birth before I’d even think of providing my bank details. Unsurprisingly, they were rather reluctant to share any info. Quite dodgy if you ask me!

Whenever I pick up, I just put the phone down while I can still hear them on the line, but I don’t say anything. Fingers crossed they get the hint and give it a rest! Just a heads up about 02033256412 - it's a lottery group with about 150 members. Everyone chips in roughly £40 a month. If nobody hits the jackpot, your entry rolls over free the following month. But if someone wins as little as £5, it gets shared out, leaving you with like 3p each. Honestly, do the maths. It's a con, you won’t see a decent payout until there’s like £30 or more per person.

Over the span of three days, this number kept buzzing me 12 times. I finally picked up on the 12th ring. I told them I wasn’t my wife, but they just kept calling me by her name. Before long, they were asking where we did our banking and wanted the last four digits of our account.
