Absolute muppets from Essex acting the big shot, chucking around names of former staff they’ve pinched from Companies House like that makes them proper legit. Get a bit narky if you call them out but there’s zero proof to back any of it. They say they’ll send you an email with the name they mentioned if you question them, but honestly, that’s about as likely as them actually selling owt. Just a right joke, if you ask me.

Cremello calling again about foreign currency payments. They rung me twice today within a couple of hours. First time they wanted the Finance Director, second time they asked for someone who left nearly four years ago. They didn’t seem to trust me when I said we don’t do foreign payments - even asked if I was sure!

I got a call from 02033255700, and they were asking for ‘accounts payable’ - when I asked if they meant ‘currencies’ he said yes... I just said no thanks and hung up. Sounds like a scam, probably trying to con you out of cash for nothing.

Like I said before, had a cold call from some bloke in Cremello London. Asked to talk to accounts but kept dodging questions and tried to drop our (former) director’s name like it would help. Told him whatever it was, it doesn’t concern our company. He said he’d speak with our other director instead. Just time wasters, they call at least once a day - such a pain!

CREMELLO calling yet again. This dodgy bloke was asking for a director specifically by name, making it seem like he was a mate, and even tried to say our director was waiting for his call and just wanted a quick chat. Total rubbish. If you can’t be upfront about why you’re ringing, why on earth should we trust you with our business? If it feels dodgy, it most likely is. c

CREMELLO CURRENCY MANAGEMENT LIMITED FX scam keeps ringing us, always asking for the Finance manager or accounts payable pretending they’re a supplier chasing money. We’ve told them to stop, but they just keep calling, saying our number’s online. We’re registered with TPS, so it’s illegal to cold call TPS numbers. So they’re either broke rules or total scammers. You can decide which.
