My other half got a call from someone pretending to be Revolut, saying there were strange blocked transactions and they needed to run some "security verification". They then attempted to send a payment request as part of some "system test". As soon as I caught the amount they were testing, I told him to cancel it right away. The moment the caller realised, they just cut the call. They sounded really convincing and were quite clever with the "security" questions. The call even showed up as Revolut's number - this bloke definitely knows his stuff.

Got a call from this number saying they were from Revolut’s fraud department. The bloke sounded pretty convincing. He said someone in Aberdeen was trying to get into my account. He asked about my balance and recent transactions, then wanted to know which bank I send money from so he could supposedly contact them for me. Told me to Google the number and it showed up as Thompson local, registered as Revolut Ltd in London. I checked with Revolut and they confirmed it’s a scam. Don’t share any info and be sure to report it to your bank and authorities.

02033228352 - THIS NUMBER CLAIMED TO BE FROM THE FINANCIAL CONDUCT AUTHORITY, TALKING ABOUT A TRANSACTION ON MY REVOLUT ACCOUNT. PROBLEM IS, I DON'T EVEN HAVE A REVOLUT ACCOUNT. I ASKED FOR A PHONE NUMBER TO CALL THEM BACK, BUT THE CALL DROPPED. THEN THEY RANG ME BACK FROM ANOTHER NUMBER, APOLOGISING FOR THE INTERRUPTION AND REPEATED THE SAME FCA STORY. Total bank scam, don’t engage! It kicks off with a text pretending to be from the NHS saying you’ve been near someone with COVID, and it includes a link. If you tap on it, they ring you from a bogus Revolut or bank number claiming you’ve been scammed and ask you to move money over. Just block and report these calls!

The caller claimed to be from Revolut’s fraud team and asked which other banks I held accounts with. Then said they were talking to my other bank and that I should expect a call soon from them. Sure enough, I got another call in under 30 seconds, but I knew it was dodgy since neither of my banks have that phone number. The bloke sounded really polite and told us we’d been scammed and asked for personal details. While chatting, I opened my Revolut app and it clearly says they never phone you and only communicate through the app. Total SCAM. Really risky. FRAUD ALERT.

This number has called me like eight times in just a few hours. I NEVER pick up if the number isn't saved in my contacts. Watch out!!

This number has called me 4 times yesterday, and I never picked up. Weird thing is, my iPhone call log shows these as “Outgoing Calls” and they range from 1 second up to 2 minutes long. Does anyone know how this happens? Just so you know, I’ve already blocked the number.

CAUTION REGARDING THIS NUMBER!!! It appeared on my screen as a call from Revolut Bank. They managed to get hold of my card number and then attempted to obtain the CVV and expiry date. Even though I didn’t give it to them, somehow after a few minutes, they were able to guess my details and tried to initiate transactions using my card. Thankfully, Revolut doesn’t execute such transactions automatically and requires confirmation. I rejected all of them, quickly transferred my funds to a different account, and cancelled my card. I also received an email about an attempt to authenticate my account from Ukraine. Upon later speaking with the bank, I discovered that REVOLUT DOES NOT HAVE A CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE AND NEVER CALLS INDIVIDUALS DIRECTLY; the only way to get in touch with them is solely through the chat feature in the app.

Just got a call a minute ago. Some bloke said someone in London was trying to get into my iPhone account. When I asked how they knew it was my iPhone, I heard some guys in the background muttering “oh that woman knows” or something like that, and then they hung up straight away. I honestly can't believe anyone actually takes this seriously. Ridiculous.

This seems like a foreign number but the country code isn’t right. I got calls from it once a day for three days straight. Then they just stopped ringing after that.

They keep ringing me no matter that I’m registered on the TPS. What’s the point of TPS then? Whenever they call, they hear a message saying my number is shielded by Call Guardian, but they just end the call straight away. Seems like they don’t get that they’re blocked.

Some bloke rang me yesterday claiming to be from Revolut. He fooled me into sharing my info. I honestly thought he was helping sort out a dodgy transaction. Felt pretty daft afterwards but lesson learnt. Be careful, folks!

‭020 3322 8352‬ for sure scammers. Got the same kind of message as others, saying they're from Revolut. Then they want you to confirm stuff through your Google or Microsoft account. Stay away!

Sadly I got tricked too. I got a notification on my Revolut app about a login attempt on my account. I was in the middle of changing my password when I got a call. They managed to withdraw about £700 before I blocked my card. But even after blocking, they still took a few thousand more. Be careful with this number and also with Revolut. I know I made a mistake sharing details I shouldn't have, but I thought blocking the card would stop everything.

About a fortnight ago I got a dodgy text claiming to be from ‘Revolut’, and then today this number rings me up saying someone was trying to get a loan on my revolut account. They asked me to confirm my details so they could transfer me to their fraud dept. They sent a Google link to verify stuff, which seemed fishy. When I asked them to prove they were really from Revolut, they just cut the call. STAY AWAY!!

Not answering these spam calls is exactly why these sc@m artists keep getting away with it. There was a post from 14/12/19 explaining what you should do, but nobody seems to care. So here we are, still getting hassled by these fraudsters nonstop.

Got a text about some weird activity on my revolut account. Funny thing is, I was getting those spam texts way before I even signed up with revolut. Seriously, never click on links from random texts, always be careful!
