Got a call from Love Holidays with some automated message offering me two choices - first, to enter my booking reference and accept a refund without messing around with chargebacks, or second, to refuse the refund and not use the chargeback process at all. Bit confusing and felt like a dead end really.

Got a call from Love Holiday Refund and it was just an automated system. You enter the numbers from your booking reference on your phone keypad, then hit the # sign. After that, it plays a prerecorded message for about 2 minutes explaining the next steps. Towards the end, it asks you to press 1 if you want to go ahead with the refund, or 2 if you don’t. They don’t ask for any personal details apart from the number part of your booking code, which you can find in the email they sent you. The money gets paid back to the same card or account you used for the original payment.
